Abstract

Teaching and learning are the main activities in higher institution. The existence of distance learning,online teaching and learning, and part-time learning are the challenges faced by the educators in preparing the course materials and deliver the course efticiently. The use of information technology application is one of the solutions for the educator. Information technology provides tools and approachesjbr the ease and strengthens the teaching and learning process. In addition, it also assists in disseminating course materials 10 students in a short time, even though the students are at a distance location. This paper discusses the usage of information technology in teaching and learning. Several main applicafions such as email, egroup, and web page are discussed.
